1948 Dodge

1948 Dodge 2-dr. sedan

Original owner Arthur Redlin (wife’s grandfather)

Squad red body, stock color for that year. Panama Sand wheels, powder-coated, stock color for that year. Original steel wheels. All glass replaced with gray inted.

Interior: upholstery and carpet all updated. Front seats have heaters added. Dashboard and window frames done to match original with hydrographic wood grain. Steering wheel and instruments rebuilt and recalibrated, all original. Lime works column shifter with starter lockout adapted to replace original.

Trunk: upholstered similar to interior. Spare and battery location moved and covered. Tool kit, period correct case.

Heating and cooling from complete Vintage Air system.

Chassis: completely upgraded to include Mustang II front clip. Including power rack and pinion steering, adjustable coil-over shocks and power disc brakes. Rear suspension is 4-link with adjustable coil-over shocks. Mounted to Ford 8.8 differential with Cobra Traction Lock. All on powder-coated frame.

Drive train: Dodge 360CI rebuilt engine. Weiand intake, performance cam, MSD Atomic fuel injection system with full MSD ignition system. Billet Specialties serpentine belt system, custom aluminum radiator and electric fan. Phoenix Transmission 700 R4 performance automatic and fan-cooled fluid cooler. All feeding into custom exhaust system with Magnaflo muffler.
